Launch of GO POSITIVE! Seminars (Aurora)

7 April 2010, 7:10 pm

Aurora, IL- Speaker and business author Sam Glenn believes that in order for a workplace to remain productive and profitable, especially in the midst of economic pressure, staff members must stay motivated, charged with energy, and equipped to handle change. That is why he is launching Go Positive Seminars, a national event series aimed at re-invigorating and inspiring staff in an affordable, half-day format.

The premiere event will be held in Aurora, Il, on Thursday, May 6, 2010, from 9 am-11:45 am, at Ginger Creek Community Church (event is not affiliated with a church). See www.EverythingAttitude.com/gps, or call (919)732-5549, for more information, or to register.

Glenn, author of A Kick in the Attitude: An Energizing Approach to Recharge Your Home, Team, and Life, will kick off the event with his signature humor-filled keynote focusing on the transformational power of attitude. He will be joined by other Chicago-area speakers, including Greg Porcaro, Juan Ortiz, and Marie Hale, on goal setting, customer service, teambuilding, and health.

“When I speak around the country, I see truckloads of employees who lack energy and morale, and leadership wonders why they are not achieving positive results. It’s simple: employees love to be a part of winning teams,” states Glenn. “For the past 14 years, I’ve studied what successful companies do and what unsuccessful companies don’t do. So in an effort to catapult people’s attitudes to a whole new level, I have formulated the Go Positive Seminar. I’ve chosen some of the most incredible and entertaining speakers in the Chicago area, and am asking managers to bring their entire office to experience this amazing, fun event. This event reveals the actions you can take to improve your life, work, relationships, health, business and more. I think everyone deserves to get struck with a jolt of enthusiasm to ignite teamwork and productivity.”

Glenn says he wishes to keep the costs low for this pilot event, which he plans to introduce nationwide. Individual tickets are $19, or $59 for a group of five. Those who can’t attend live have the option of tuning in via simulcast, or purchasing a DVD of the program.

“This is a fraction of what it would cost to bring these speakers to your place of business,” states Glenn. “I’d like to think of it as a no-brainer to attend.”

Glenn, a native of the Chicago area, once found himself negative, broke, depressed, unemployed and without a home of his own. Thanks to the “attitude adjustment” of a friend, Glenn says he redirected his life. Today, Glenn is a highly sought after motivational speaker, business author, and workplace consultant, inspiring millions to make simple changes to their attitude for greater personal and professional fulfillment. Glenn works with organizations that value the results a positive attitude in action achieves.

“Sometimes the day to day junk in life knocks the positive kick right out of us,” states Glenn. “And that positive kick is our enthusiasm, ambition, resilience, and ability to get the job done.” Glenn’s approach capitalizes on an individual’s humor, perseverance, excellence, and enthusiasm to put that “kick” back into life.

Ginger Creek Community Church is located at 2850 Ginger Woods Parkway, Aurora, Il., 60502.
