White Sox make 8 Roster Moves

Following today's game vs. San Diego, the Chicago White Sox made the following eight roster moves:

• Optioned RHP Anthony Carter, RHP Freddy Dolsi, INF Eduardo Escobar and OF Stefan Gartrell to Class AAA Charlotte;
• Optioned RHP Kyle Cofield and RHP Nate Jones to Class AA Birmingham;
• Reassigned RHP Brandon Hynick and RHP Miguel Socolovich to minor-league camp.

With the moves, the White Sox have 38 players remaining in major-league camp: 18 pitchers, four catchers, 10 infielders and six outfielders.
